Ruby Wheeler, 88, passed away on January 09, 2019, at Johnson County Health and Rehab in Clarksville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12:30-1:30pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A family burial service will follow at Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL, under the direction of Lowndes Funeral Home.

Ms. Wheeler was born October 12, 1930 in Pickens County, AL to the late Monroe and Della Harrell. She worked for many years in the garment manufacturing industry as a seamstress. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her family dearly. She was a longtime member of Millport Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband Donald Turner, in 1968; one daughter Pat Lumpkin; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by three children: Rick Turner of Houston, TX, Judy (Andy) Allen of Ozark, AR, and Donna (Rod) Aldridge of Ethelsville, AL; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
