Russell Jordan, 54, of Greenwood Springs, MS passed away Thursday, December 2, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Jordan was born January 7, 1962, to Dixie White Nichols and the late James Sylvester Jordan in Columbus, MS. He has lived in the area for his entire life and was formerly a mechanic and technician for Bates Tire Center and 3 Star Muffler & Repair, both in Columbus MS. Mr. Jordan enjoyed working on vehicles and was an excellent muffler man. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister-Frances Bush.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife-Crystal Jordan, Greenwood Springs, MS; his mother-Dixie White Nichols, Columbus, MS; daughters-Heather Robinson, Caledonia, MS, Sumer (Adam) Ryan, Columbus, MS, and Chalee Jordan, Aberdeen, MS; brother Frank "Bo" Jordan, Columbus, MS; sisters-Hazel Kesler, Greenwood Springs, MS; Nancy Thompson, Hamilton, MS; Elizabeth Young, Caledonia, MS; Betty James, Mobile, AL; and grandchildren-Makiya Robinson, Kamri Robinson, Cole Robinson, Mary Addison Ryan, Avery Ryan, and Christopher Ryan.
