Ruth Michelle Carpenter, 68, of Columbus, MS passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at her residence.

Ms. Carpenter was born on March 31, 1955, in West Point, MS to the late Mildred Ruth Moore Carpenter and LaFrinia Fain Carpenter. Ms. Carpenter was a switchboard operator for many years. In addition to her parents, Ms. Carpeter is preceded in death by her brother- Sandy Carpenter.

Ms. Carpenter is survived by her Sisters- Cheryl (Casey) Carpenter Bush, Cathy Carpenter Moss, and Pam Carpenter Williams; Son- Britt (Amy) Glenn; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nephews- Leif Carpenter, Ryan Bush, Trey Williams, Justin Moss; nieces- Amber Bush Hall and Jana Moss.
