Sally Joyce Collie, 78 of Steens, MS passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Community Hospice. There will be a Graveside Service Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 9 AM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Jackson, MS. with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Collie was born January 10, 1936 in Jackson, MS to the late Robert Clifton and Bertie Caroline Bowen Adcock. She worked as an Appraiser for the State of Mississippi for 24 years. Mrs. Collie was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter-Janice Posey. Mrs. Collie is survived by her son-Robert Jason (Pamela) Collie, Steens, MS and a sister-Joan Haws, Eatonton, GA ; grandchildren-Jason Parker, Jeremy Posey, John Collie, Lindsey Posey and Taylor Collie; great grandchildren-Madison Posey and Landon Parker .
