Sally Glenn Moore Sally Glenn Moore, 75 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at her residence. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL; Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Moore was born July 21, 1935 in Columbus, MS to the late James Leslie and Matilda Reed Glenn. She was a lifetime resident of Columbus, MS and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Moore retired in 1996 from United Technologies in the Accounting Department with more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed going to Alabama football and baseball games and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister – Mildred Adair and brother – Leslie "Cowboy" Glenn. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters - Billie Sue (Allan) Glenn, Columbus, MS; Sharee Karg, Columbus, MS; Paula (Tim) Rose, Newbern, TN; sister – Dorothy Wood, Columbus, MS; brothers – Robert Glenn – Phoenix, AZ; Albert "Shorty" Glenn, Columbus, MS; grandchildren – Britt Glen, Columbus, MS; Kelli (Paul) Avery, Columbus, MS; Haley (T.K.) Wood, Helena, AL; Mandi Karg, Columbus, MS; Kenzie Hollis, Columbus, MS; Cody Rose, Newbern, TN; Catelyn Rose, Newbern, TN and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Allan Glenn, Tim Rose, Ronnie Karg, Bill Kibe, Jim Kibe and Cody Rose. Honorary pallbearers will be Grace Pointer, Sonny Glenn, Tommy Glenn, Dr.Naseer Khan, Dr. Robbie Godwin and Linda Glenn.
