Sandra R. Freeland Sandra Elizabeth Ryals Freeland, 70 of Columbus, MS passed away, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at 3 PM in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Freeland was born April 2, 1941 to the late Edward O. and Evelyn Jones Ryals in Montgomery, AL. She moved to Columbus 45 years ago from Roanoke, VA. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS, enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren. Mrs. Freeland is survived by her sons – Howard Kelly (Sandra) Freeland, Harvest, AL and Steven Edward Freeland, Columbus, MS. Sisters – Betty Munoz, Atlanta, GA, Marilyn Fuller, Atlanta, GA and Elaine Ryals, Atlanta, GA, Grandchildren – Matt Freeland and Courtney Freeland. Pallbearers will be Kelly Freeland, Jim Fuller, Edward Munoz, Scott Adair, Glen Hardin and Mike Rowell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Freeland and Matt Freeland.
