Sandra Lee Martin, 57, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at her residence.

Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2021, from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Pastor Robert L. Hamilton, Sr. officiating.

Mrs. Martin was born on May 17, 1964, in Freeport, ME to the late Vernon Ashby and Eleanor Doughty Ashby. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and baking.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Richard Martin of Columbus, MS; daughter, Sharon (Shawn) Beaver of Columbus, MS; son, Darrell (Heidi) Ashby of Bangor, ME; grandchildren, Valeri Beaver, John Beaver, Aubrie Beaver, Brittney Ashby, and Noah Ashby; sisters, Gloria Bailey of Maine, and  Joyce Mathews of Maine; brother, Vernon Ashby of Maine.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Beaver, Matthew Stanton, C.J. Odom, William Shaw, Bruce Hoffman, and Kenneth Hutchinson.
