Sarah Ozelle Brown, 82, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Bro. James Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Brown was born August 5, 1935, in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Ed Elias and Velia Velmer Boothe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Horace Earl Brown, grandchildren- Justin and Jacob Brown, brothers- Otis Boothe and Rudolph Boothe, and sisters- Mary Swedenburg Hardy, Betty Ruth Boothe, and Alice Huffman.

Ms. Brown is survived by her sons- Billy (Amy) Brown  of Caledonia, MS, and David Brown of Las Vegas, NV; daughter- Linda (Michael) Bean of Savannah, GA; grandchildren- Trent Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Gracie Bean, Toby Bean, Conner Brown, and Landon Brown; sisters- Betty Ann Grace, Lois Crowell, Lugene Reed, and Dorothy Marlowe.
