Sarah Grace Jackson, 85, of Steens, MS, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11:00 A.M at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Dan Louman and Bro. Taylor Chisolm officiating.  After funeral service, there will be a short graveside service with Lowndes Funeral Home directing, at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS.  Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs.  Jackson was born January 1, 1939, in Columbus, MS, to the late Van Buren "Bill" Wheeler and Rose Ann Murphy Wheeler. She was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church, where she was involved with the Joy Sunday School Class, the WMU, and Choir. Mrs. Jackson loved quilting and flower gardening. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband- Roy Jackson; two sisters-Janie Turman and Pearlie (W.G.) Allen; brother- Robert Wheeler.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her son- David (Tracey) Jackson; daughter- Peggy (Larry) Brownlee; grandchildren- Lyndsey (Mohammad) Khaled, Kayla (Louis) Alexander, Dustin (April) Hathcock, Derrick (Priscilla) Hathcock and five great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be- Mohammed Khaled, Mitch Wiggins, Rickey Moore, Douglas Allen, Louis Alexander, and David Honnoll. Honorary Pallbearers will be- Terry Robinson, Mike Stallings, staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT, Baptist Memorial EMS, and Border Springs Baptist Church family.
