Sarah Margie Rivers. 90, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Trinity Healthcare, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS  with Bro. Tommy Gillon and Bro. Ken Nuss officiating with no graveside.

Mrs. Rivers was born on September 10, 1932, in Kilmichael, MS to the late Alsie Morgan and Emmie Cox Morgan.  Mrs. Rivers was a cafeteria worker for many years at Mississippi University for Women. She enjoyed gardening and housekeeping. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her husband- Wesley Rivers.

Mrs. Rivers is survived by her son- Ronald Rivers; daughter- Becky Rivers; grandchildren- Beth (Lee) Calvert and Luke Rivers; great-grandchildren- Elijah Calvert, Caleb Calvert, and Preston Calvert.

Pallbearers will be Marvell Morgan, Jimmy Wayne Rivers, Ricky Binghman, Lee Calvert, Paul Guerry, and Chris Crawley. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Trinity Place Healthcare – North Hall.
