Sarah Belk Wilson, age 85, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at Aurora Health and Rehab - Columbus, MS.

The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Nick Smith officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born on January 7, 1938, in Columbus, MS to the late Houston and Helen Beatty Belk.  Mrs. Wilson was a woman of faith, who loved the Lord and her church family.  She was a member of East End Baptist Church, where she sang in the Senior Choir.  She enjoyed caring for her pets and tending her flowers, especially her African violets.  Also, she loved shopping, which helped add pieces to her extensive jewelry collection.  She loved spending time with her friends, but, above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her brother – Edward Belk; sons – Jim Harrison, Bob Harrison, and Alan Harrison; and grandchildren – Brandie Harrison and Corey Harrison.

She is survived by her husband – Carter Wilson; children – Cliff (Sharon) Wilson, Hayley (Thomas) Stout, and Shawn Harrison; grandchildren – Cole Harrison, Carley Harrison, Shannon (Jeremy) Mullins, Brittany (John) Griffin, Ciera (Chris) Burns, Shawna Dale Harrison, Matthew Stout, Alaina Stout, Leah Stout, Eli Wilson, and Molly Kate Wilson; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Legacy Hospice and Aurora Health and Rehab.
