Shawn Bedford Maxey, 45, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 10-11 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Honeycutt officiating.

Mr. Maxey was born August 8, 1973 in Macon, MS to the Sybyl Maxey Forrester. He was an Auto Mechanic and loved his boys. He is preceded in death by his wife- Karen Maxey

Mr. Maxey is survived by his; sons- Kyle and Jay Bedford Maxey; mother- Sybyl Maxey Forrester; uncle- Larry Maxey aunts- Dorothy Dewberry, Doris Moree, Virgina Box; Cousins- Spencer Dewberry, David Moree, Deirdre Dewberry White, and Leslie Moree Karin.
