Shelia Jean Head, 63, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at her residence.

A memorial service will be Sunday, December 12, 2021at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Head was born on September 13, 1958, in Macon, MS to Barbara Abrams Edmonson and the late Billy Edmonson. She worked as a Switch Board Operator for 15 years at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT. Mrs. Head enjoyed singing, dancing, being around people, and loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to her father, Mrs. Head is preceded in death by her brother- Randy Edmonson.

Mrs. Head is survived by her husband, Willard M. Head of Columbus, MS; sons, Christopher Anthony Edmonson, of Columbus, MS and Dallas Stratton of Atlanta, GA; 2 grandchildren; her mother, Barbara Edmonson, and her sister, Bobbie McDill of Columbus, MS.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or Muscular Dystrophy.
