Obituary

Sherry Lynn Livingston, 64 of Steens, MS passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at her residence.

Visitation was held Monday, October 17, 2016, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral services are Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Robert Gillis officiating.  She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Livingston was born November 3, 1951, in Columbus, MS to the late Blanche Warren and Flossie Pace McKellar.  She graduated from S.D. Lee High School and was employed as a sales associate at Fred's Gateway Shopping Center, Columbus, MS and Wal-Mart, Columbus, MS.  She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  Mrs. Livingston loved her family and grandchildren, playing BINGO, and Mississippi State Football.  She was married to her husband for 44 years.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Livingston is preceded in death by her brother – Buddy Seay; grandchildren – Infant Baby Gingery and Aubrey Livingston.

Mrs. Livingston is survived by her husband of 44 years – Paul Henry Livingston, Steens, MS; daughters – Debra (Adrian) McKee, Steens, MS; Deanna (Nathan) Gingery, Anacortes, WA; Dana (Jonathan) Hutchins, Columbus, MS; sons – David (Danelle) Livingston, Columbus, MS; Drew (Jamie) Livingston, Steens, MS; grandchildren – Baron McKee, Zachary McKee, Emily McKee, Zachary Duncan, Joshua Landon Livingston, Emma Gingery, Adaya Hutchins, Gunner Hutchins, and Kowen Livingston; sisters – Virginia (Bubba) Pratt, Baldwyn, MS; Cindy (Jimmy) Lovorn, Pascagoula, MS; Ann (Ron) Thomas, Kosciusko, MS; sister-in-law – Vikki Seay, Guntown, MS.

Pallbearers will be Roger Dawkins, Leon Harris, Wesley Hildreth, James Harden, Baron McKee, and Zachary Duncan.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Landon Livingston, Kowen Livingston, Zachary McKee, and Gunner Hutchins.  The family would like to extend their appreciation to Sanctuary Hospice caregivers – Valarie Miller, Kayla Hodges, and Shanta Selvie.
