Shirley Mae English Shirley Mae English, 61, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS. A memorial service for Ms. English will be Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10 AM at Bethel Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Walter Butler officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Ms. English was born August 11, 1951 in Cleveland, MS to the late Woodrow and Gerldine Pace Stone. She moved to Columbus, MS in 2006 from Phoenix, AZ. Ms. English was formerly employed with Russ Uniform Service for seven years and she attended Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. She enjoyed playing on the computer, gardening, watching TV, eating out, and being with her friends. Ms. English is survived by her sisters – Rita F. (Garry) Oxner and Debbie L.
