Shirley Mae Grantham, 80, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Windsor nursing home, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mel Howton officiating. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Shirley, also known to some as Little Shirley, was born to the late Charles and Eva Ramsey Bryant in Eureka, California. She moved to Columbus, MS 60 years ago. While she worked several different jobs, her favorite was taking care of her family and cooking nightly meals for them to enjoy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson-Troy Earnest.

She is survived in death by her husband of 45 years-Thomas "Bull" Grantham; daughter-Debbie Coleman; sons-Johnny Earnest and Benny Coleman; grandchildren-Amie (Alan) Hartsfield, Lora (Lance) Dawkins, Matt (Stacie) Coleman, Johnny (Shelley) Earnest, Jr., and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Grantham, Matt Coleman, Johnny Earnest, Jr., Benny Coleman, Lance Dawkins, and Alan Hartsfield. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gayden and June Johnson, Barbara Carley and the Sandifer Family.
