Shirley Mae Richardson, 67, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Richardson was born November 6, 1950, in Baltimore, MD to the late Howard Jackson Wright and the late Anna Narrisa Amberman Wright. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School, Edgewood, MD in 1969. Mrs. Richardson was also a member of the American Legion, Post #69, in Columbus, MS. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her son- Howard Rayner, and two sisters- Robin Wright and Mary Wright.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband- James Richardson of Columbus, MS; daughter- Linda Dees; son- Joseph Rayner; step-children- Kathy Forrester and Larry Richardson; grandchildren- Alexis Rayner, Summer Owens, Brittany Richardson, Dalton Forrester, Carson Forrester, and Garrett Dees; great-grandchildren- Declan Forrester, Breanna Mason, Dylon Mason, and Kylie Dennison; brother- Albert Lewis; sisters- Peggy Irwin, Jackie Wright, Sara Wright, and Shirley Wright; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Creswell, Howard Irwin, Anthony Perrigan, Garrett Dees, Jason Burns, and Kevin Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Dees, Robert Brownlee, and Randy Owen.
