Stanley Bob Williams, 63, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Community Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Bro. Jaron Andrews officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Williams was born on November 10, 1957, in Columbus, MS to the late Henrietta Williams and Bobby Williams. Stanley lived in Columbus, MS all his life. He worked as a painter for over 45 years. Stanley was loved by many and his main priority in life had always been his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Community Baptist Church, where he was baptized and gave his life to the lord. He loved his classic cars and going to car shows. He had a one of a kind personality we all loved and he will be greatly missed by many. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his brother- Robert Wyers.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife- Nancy Joanne Lucas Williams of Columbus, MS; son- Shawn Verdin; daughters- Crystal (Roger) Easley and Joanna (Rick) Franks; grandchildren- Taylor (Chad) Price, Kori Verdin, Whitney Easley, Cole Verdin, Kaitlyn Easley, and Kellen Franks; great-grandchildren- Addison Price, Cason Price, Zaylyn Advant, and Treves Easley; brothers- Buddy (Teresa) Wyers, and Paul Williams; brother-in-law- Gary (Geraldean) Lucas; sister-in-laws- Karen (Dale) Matherne, Kathy (Waymon) McDill, and Lynn (Jim) Plumb; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Pounders, Chad Price, Tony Williams, Jr., Adam Lucas, AJ Hicks, and Cole Verdin. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Jacobs, Johnny Harrison, Trinity Wyers, Buddy Wyers, Josh Williams, Michael Wyers, Sonny, and Gayle Glenn, Ron and Nancy Harper, and Nancy Cash Holman.
