Stephen O'Neal Crowell, 54 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his residence.

A private memorial will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Crowell was born December 14, 1961 to Dean Campbell Gregory and the late Vincen O'Neal Crowell in Fayette, AL.  He was a member of Stateline Baptist Church.  Mr. Crowell retired in 2016 from Nichols Dirt Construction where he was employed as a truck driver/equipment operator for 25 years.  He was a Jack of All Trades and enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, the outdoors and he was a great artist.

Mr. Crowell is survived by his daughters – Julita Crowell, Jacksonville, N.C. and Stephanie Crowell, Antioch, CA; sons – David O'Neal Crowell, Steens, MS and Stephan Cody Crowell, Cathage, N.C.; sisters – Kathy Yearby, Columbus, MS and Dewana Herron, Antioch, CA; brother – Donald Herron Crowell, Columbus, MS and 4 grandchildren.
