Steven Floyd Knight, 64 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Ethelsvlle, AL.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Pickensville, AL. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Tim Jones officiating.  Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Knight was born October 23, 1959, in Demopolis, AL to Betty Joyce Dixon Knight and the late Thomas Earl Knight.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Pickensville, AL, and retired in 2021 from Gulf Coast Marine Supply.  Mr. Knight loved rabbit hunting, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed making fishing lures.  In addition to his father, Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his brother – Thomas Scott Knight.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife – Candace Hood Knight, sister – Vanessa (Joe) Hicks, Nephews – Steven Todd (Haley) Hicks and Michael Hood, nieces – Nikki Hood and Kristen (Brandon Weir) Hood, great nephew – Oliver Hicks; great nieces – Anna Grace Hicks and Davina Hood, mother – Betty Joyce Dixon Knight and his In-laws – Mike and Barbara Hood.
