On the 13 ^th day of September 2017, at 8:55 PM Sue McLemore Tucker lost her battle with cancer and passed away at her home in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 2:00 – 4:oo PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow Sunday, September 17, 2017, at 4:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shawn Parker officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Sue was born June 5, 1957, in Columbus, MS to the late Richard McLemore and Nell Boyd McLemore. Sue attended West Lowndes Elementary School and graduated from East Lowndes Academy in 1975. She went to work for Attorney Ben Owen and later worked for Ceco Building Division for 36 years.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Danny Roy Tucker of Columbus, MS; sons- Richard Andrew (Leanne) Tucker and Stephen Paul Tucker; sister- Betty McLemore (John) Varga of Milwaukee, WI; two grandsons- Aden Matthew Tucker and Alston Lance Tucker; two granddaughters- Anna Studdard and Haley Studdard; 16 nieces and nephews; 34 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great great niece.
