Susan Angelika Tharp, 33, of Starkville, MS, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at Oktibbeha County Hospital, Starkville, MS.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Ms. Tharp was born on August 4, 1988, in Jackson, MS to Ricky Tharp and Judy Tharp, of Pensacola, FL. She was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Ms. Tharp was the winner of the MS Science Fair, captain of her cheerleading squad at Mississippi School for the Deaf, and she attended space camp at Huntsville Alabama. She was also a member of the Mississippi Association for the Deaf. Ms. Tharp is preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Hutchison.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Tharp is survived by her brothers Chris and Brad Tharp, grandmother – Marjorie Hutchison, uncle – Eric Hutchison, and aunts – Susan Hutchison, Michelle Woodruff, and Wendy Mehl.
