Tammy Jean Brasher Lambert was born on November 14, 1959, in Bessemer, Alabama, to the late Doris Burlington Brasher and Inez Brooks Brasher. She spent her early years in Alabama before making her home in Mississippi, where she moved after marrying the love of her life, Chuck Lambert, Jr.

Tammy was a truly wholesome woman with a heart for people and a gift for making others feel welcome. She was a devoted friend to everyone she met, the life of the party, and someone who brought warmth, laughter, and joy wherever she went. She had a beautiful singing voice and a special love for singing church hymns as a member of the choir at Shaeffer’s Chapel. Tammy shared her love of music and faith with her church family.

Tammy was also an exceptional cook who showed her love through the meals she prepared and the people she gathered around her table. Her cooking was something special, and her meals will always hold a special place in the memories of those who loved her. Later in Life, Tammy discovered a talent for painting, finding another beautiful way to express herself and share her gifts with the world.

Above all, Tammy loved her husband, Chuck with her whole heart. Married for 27 years, they were true soulmates who found happiness in life's simplest things. They loved fishing together, riding around together, and, most of all, simply being together. They didn’t need elaborate plans or special occasions to enjoy life. They had each other, and that was what mattered most.

Tammy loved Chuck no matter what. Her love was steady, wholehearted and unconditional. She stood beside him and shared her life with him through the good times and difficult ones. Theirs was a love built not just on the big moments, but on all the ordinary days spent side by side. She was his wife, his companion, his best friend, and his soul mate. The life they shared over 27 years is a testament to a love that will never be forgotten. In addition to her parents, Tammy is preceded in death by her Wayne Don and nephew, Heath.

Tammy leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck Lambert, Jr.; her son, Brandon, and his wife, Misty her stepdaughter, Shelley, and her husband, Michael; her stepdaughter, Shelley, and her husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Frankie, Brooke, Carleigh, and Henry; and her great-grandchildren, October. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat and Lynn, along with a host of nieces, and nephews. Her beloved fur babies, Rosie, Lulu, and Millie, were also cherished members of her family.

Tammy will be remembered for her beautiful voice singing church hymns, the laughter she brought to a room, the delicious meals she lovingly prepared, the friendships she treasured, and the many ways she made her life brighter for those around her. She will be remembered in familiar songs, family gatherings, meals shared with loved ones, and the memories that will be carried forward for generations. Though she will be deeply missed, Tammy‘s love will never be lost. It lives on in her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and great- grandchildren, her extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. Her life was filled with love, and that love will remain long after she is gone.

A Celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at a later date.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever a part of the hearts she touched.
