Hartshorne, OK – Tammy Jo Ables O'Kelley, age 56, died August 26, 2017, in Wheeling, W.V.

Services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Tabernacle Methodist Church, 6015 Tabernacle Road, Ethelsville, AL 35461 with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:00 PM.

Tammy Jo was born on July 29, 1961, in Kosciusko, MS to Joe Frank Ables, Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Able Gladu. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Tammy was a 1979 graduate of Millport High School and also attended Brewer State Junior College in Fayette, AL.

Tammy grew up and lived in Columbus, MS most of her life. She traveled with her husband and son to many states across the U.S. doing pipeline work. She loved spending time with her family and friends and especially her granddaughter Shaylin.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Edward Michael O'Kelley of Hartshorne, O.K., son, Chekota Michael O'Kelley (Tisha) of O.K., step-daughter, Shana O'Kelley Arnold of O.K., granddaughter, Shaylin Danielle Arnold (Daniel) of O.K. , brother, Joe Frank Ables, Jr. (Tricia) of Columbus, M.S., sister, Daneen Ables Carroll (Jeff) of Columbus, M.S. She also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews, seven sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Tabernacle Cemetery Fund, Columbus, Christian Center Youth Building Fund or to your favorite charity.
