It has been said that what you leave behind is not what is engraved on stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.

Teresa Franklin Miley (65) passed away Friday evening, September 17, 2021, having left unforgettable and lasting marks on many lives. She passed from this life into eternity with the Father, having received her ultimate healing, with her loving husband and daughter by her side.

Teresa is best known for the many years she devoted to the ministry as a worship leader, ordained minister, evangelist, conference speaker, short-term missionary, and Bible teacher. She will always be remembered for her service and commitment to Jesus Christ, love for her family, friends, and others, and her passion for leading worship and as an accomplished pianist.

Teresa was born on June 5, 1956, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late James Harvey Franklin, Jr. and Mary Lou Stover Franklin.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles "Lee" Leland Miley, mother- Mary Lou Franklin, and daughter and son in law- Megan Miley Pedigo and Brandon Pedigo. She was a proud and loving Nana to four wonderful grandchildren- Jon Brantlee Pedigo, Liam Pedigo, Brynlee Pedigo, and Bentlee Pedigo. Sister to D. Michael Franklin and wife Connie.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Christway Church in Flowood, MS. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm, at Christway Church, with Bishop Melvin Shuler officiating. Pastor Victor Stewart, Pastor Larry Edwards, and Pastor Mike Franklin will assist. Interment will be at Memorial Garden Park, Starkville, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Pedigo, Jon Brantlee Pedigo, David Franklin, Adam Smith, Ted Russell, and Michael Russell. Honorary pallbearer will be Liam Pedigo.
