Terry Lynn Adkins, 57, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his residence. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00am with Robin Elmore officiating and Bro. Walter Butler assisting in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Adkins was born October 22, 1958 in Lowndes County, MS. He has lived in the area for 57 years. Mr. Adkins loved riding his motorcycle and working on the International waters as an ocean mariner. He is preceded in death by his brother-Ronnie Ray Adkins. Mr. Adkins is survived by his mother-Sarah Adkins, Columbus, MS; brothers-Ricky (Robin) Adkins and Joseph (Charlotte) Adkins, both of Columbus, MS; and sisters-Charlotte Watkins-Millport, AL; and Mary (Rick) Price, Columbus, MS; special aunts-Doris Daniel and Dorothy Burns; and special uncle-Roy E. Burns Pallbearers will be Billy Todd, David Bush, Travis Montgomery, Timothy Adkins, James Daniel, and Ronnie Adkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Price, James Collums, John Adkins, Joey Adkins, Adam Prater, and Matthew Thornbrough.
