Terry M. Elmore, 66 of Steens, MS passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at her residence. Visitation was be Monday, August 17, 2015 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Godsey officiating and Bro. Michael Thomas assisting. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Ms. Elmore was born December 18, 1948 to the late Edward and Sibylline McCullars in Haleyville, AL and moved to Columbus, MS in 1984. She was a member of the Full Gospel Worship Center, Vernon, AL and a retired Registered Nurse with Baptist Memorial Hospital where she worked for 10 years. Ms. Elmore enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, family gatherings, spending time with friends, and Alabama football. In addition to her parents, Ms. Elmore was preceded in death by her brothers - Cranford "Mac" McCullars, Lavaughn McCullars and sister - Joann Farris. Ms. Elmore is survived by her daughters - Ashley (Allan) Blalock and Stephanie Elmore; son - Chad Elmore all of Columbus, MS; mother-in-law - Martha Fancher, Ethelsville, AL; sisters-in-law - Martha McCullars, Ethelsville, AL and Sherry (Bubba) Kelley, Palmetto, AL; brothers-in-law - Kenny (Diane) Elmore, Reform, AL and Teddy Elmore, Ethelsville, AL; grandchild - Jack Blalock; extended family - Morgan (Michael) Thomas, Chase (Kaitlyn) Elmore, Robin Elmore and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Farris, Kenny Elmore, Bubba Kelley, Allen Blalock, Randy Boman, Jason Godsey and Chase Elmore. Honorary pallbearers will be William McCullars, Nurses and Staff of P.C.U. at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle and Staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
