Mr. Terry Allen Owens "Rusty Gunz" of Columbus, MS passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Pender officiating.

Mr. Owens was born on August 10, 1955, to Chester V. and Bessie Ellison Owens. Mr. Owens was a retired MSgt of the United States Air Force and current UDM with security Force at Columbus Air Force Base. He was a gun enthusiast, built and customized firearms and was a member of the Double "H" Gun Club. Mr. Owens enjoyed hunting in Tennessee with his brother Mike. He was an avid animal lover and supporter. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his grandson-Christopher Owens Nickoles.

Mr. Owens is survived by his wife-Elizabeth Davis Owens, daughter-Chastity (Bobby Jr) Nickoles of Concord, N.C.; Father Chester V. Owens; Mother Bessie Ellison Owens; brothers- Mike Owens Sr. of Monroe, MI, Chester Owens Jr. of Monroe, MI; sisters-Connie Jacobs of Monroe, MI, Crystal Willit of Monroe MI, and Tina Brown of Harrogate, Tn; grandchildren-Brianna (Josiah) Hooper and Mikelle Nickoles; great-grandchildren- Emery and Lillian; godchildren-Richard Lane of Martin,TN and Kyleigh Lewis of Columbus, MS and a host of nephews and nieces and his precious fur babies Molly & Ellie;
