"Ted" Terry Carl McDaniel, 63 of Caledonia, MS. passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital - GT on April 9th, 2017.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home. A Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 12 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating and Bro. Don Harding assisting. Interment will be at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Ted was born on in Columbus, MS. on April 22, 1953, to the late Rolf and Hazel McDaniel. He was a 1971 graduate of Caledonia High School, and after graduation, he then went to be employed by Weyerhaeuser working in the Forestry Field for 20 plus years, contractor for Weyerhaeuser, owned and operated a Stump Grinding business, then retired with the Lowndes County Road Department. Ted was known for spending his time in Community Hunting Club in Caledonia, MS running deer dogs and hunting. He also had a love for Alabama Football, fishing on the river, and seeing his grandchildren. Ted was a member of the Community Hunting Club, Lost 40 Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Rolf and Hazel McDaniel.

Ted is survived by his wife- Jackie McDaniel of Caledonia, MS.; sister- Debbie Fondren (Tommy) of Sulfur, LA.; brother- Jimmy McDaniel (Sara) of Vernon, AL.; daughter- Amy B. Gallop (Charles) of Caledonia, MS.; son- Byron McDaniel of Caledonia, MS.; stepsons-  D.J. Pitts (Gina) also of Caledonia, MS. and Jarod Pitts of Spring, TX.; grandchildren: Carlie Burke, Dustin Pitts, Blake Burke, Logan Pitts, Ashlie Gallop,   Joshua Pitts, Cayden Pitts, Clayton McDaniel, Aiden McDaniel, Grayson Pitts and Lucas Pitts; great-grandchild Paisley Pitts.

Pallbearers will be D.J. Pitts, Blake Burke, Dustin Pitts, Daniel Fondren, Randy Finch, Josh Markham, Brock Reynolds, Jeremiah Blackston, Ben Smith and Issac Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Wayne Partain, Bobby Egger, Johnny Gibson, Hoot Gibson, Benjy Jones, Mike Harrison, Mike Grant, Ted Finch, David Newman, Terry Stapp, Carl Williams, Charles Williams, Tommy Fondren, Gary Collins, Jeff Wilson, J.W. Sprayberry, Community Hunting Club, and Lost 40 Hunting Club.
