Thomas Gene Edmonds, 77 of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Moehring officiating.  Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Edmonds was born March 20, 1944, to the late Eugene Henry and Inez Spruill Edmonds in Columbus, MS.  He owned Tems Food Market for 12 years and retired in 2015.  Mr. Edmonds enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with cattle on the farm.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Edmonds was preceded in death by his wives -  Connie Faye Edmonds and Brenda Joyce Edmonds.

Mr. Edmonds is survived by his son – Eric (Tammy) Edmonds, Columbus, MS; 2 grandchildren – Brett Gordon and Erica Gordon; and great-grandchild – Trace Gordon.

Pallbearers will be Tom Denton, James Turner, Rob Malone, Brett Gordon, Heath Bostick, and Randall Reed.
