Thomas Earl Glasgow, 67 of Columbus, MS passed away, Friday, May 23, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Visitation for Mr. Glasgow will be Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Monday, May 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Breck Ladd officiating. Interment will be in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens, Pontotoc, MS with Bro. Harvey Sewell officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Glasgow was born October 13, 1946 to the late Daucey Bill and Eva Lorene Petty Glasgow in Pontotoc, MS. He moved to Columbus 38 years ago from Oxford, MS and was owner of Tom's Paint & Decorating in Columbus, MS for 22 years. Mr. Glasgow attended Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS and a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, Mr. Glasgow was preceded in death by his sister - Mary Katherine Glasgow. Mr. Glasgow is survived by his wife - Sheron Gentry Glasgow, Columbus, MS; daughter - Courtney (James Perry) Glasgow, Madison, MS; sons - Shane (Kim) Glasgow, Columbus, MS, Patrick (Angie Thomas) Glasgow, Columbus, MS and Jayden Glasgow, Columbus, MS; sister - Jo Ann (Danny) Roach, Carlisle, IA; 4 grandchildren - Whitney Glasgow, Peyton Ellis, Noah Tucker-Glasgow and Eli Ellis.
