Mr. Thomas J Moore, 88, of Caledonia, MS passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Windsor Place in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS.

Mr. Moore was born November 20, 1933, in Carthage, MS to the late Thomas J Moore Sr and Rosa Lee Coleman.  He retired from the United States Airforce after twenty years of service.  Mr. Moore also retired from the City of Columbus, where he served as the Beautification Director.  He was an avid fisherman as well.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Moore, and sister, Berta Linch.

Mr. Moore is survived by his daughters – Edna Gail (Mike) Stapp and Belinda Weathers; his son – Kenneth (Beverly) Moore; sister – Norine Puckett; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.

Pallbearers will be Coleman Stapp, Michael Stapp, Isaiah Brackett, Ross Sullivan, Mike Stapp, and George Mounce.
