Thomas Allen Morgan, 82 of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Mr. Morgan was born June 6, 1937, to the late Emmett Samuel and Eldie Foster Morgan in Columbus, MS.  He was a graduate of New Hope High School and East Mississippi Junior College.  He married Faye Smith on August 6, 1964, in Brooksville, MS, and was self-employed as a commercial and industrial painter and owner of Thomas Morgan Painting Company for 56 years.  Mr. Morgan was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Billy Bozeman's Sunday School class, and Fairview Baptist Men's Cooking Team.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a loyal Mississippi State football and baseball fan.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 55 years – Faye Smith Morgan, Columbus, MS; daughters – Sandy (Harold) Williams and Melanie (Myron) Nash; sister – Charlotte Gunn; grandchildren – Frazier (Jessica) Williams, Arie (Brandon) Carlton, Morgan Williams, Ellie Carlton, Farrah Williams, and Hugo Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Billy Bozeman's Sunday School Class; Herbert Tedford; Robert Malone and Dot Hendrix.
