Tina Olyve Walden, 72 of Columbus, MS passed away, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Walden will be Monday, July 8, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Memorial service will be at 7:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Columbus, MS with Elder Eleazar Johnson officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Walden was born August 31, 1940 to the late E.L. & Paulene Wilson Adams in Yazoo City, MS. She moved to Columbus 45 years ago from Greenwood, MS and retired in 2002 as an accountant with the Civil Service at Columbus Air Force Base after 20+ years of service. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Columbus, MS and loved to go door to door preaching the gospel. Mrs. Walden also loved to sew and plant flowers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walden was preceded in death by her son Thomas Walden. Mrs. Walden is survived by her husband Tommy Walden, Columbus, MS, sons – Tim (Sherrie) Walden, Columbus, MS, David Lawson, Yazoo City, MS, Sisters – Polly McFadden, Columbus, MS, Alta Faye Prisock, Hattiesburg, MS, Marion Wheeler, Baton Rouge, LA, Brother – Abner Adams, California, Grandchildren – Todd Walden, Kayla Walden, Abby Walden, Dustin Walden and her pet dog "Lido".
