Vicky Renee Sprouse, 63 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at her residence.

A family memorial service will be Tuesday, May 19, 2020, 10:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel.  The family will have a drive through visitation immediately following the service in the Lowndes Funeral Home parking lot. Friends may view the service live online at www.lowndesfuneralhome.net.

Mrs. Sprouse was born May 23, 1956, to the late Victor Earl and Merle Dlean Price Townsend in Kosciusko, MS.  She answered her calling to go into healthcare and became a registered nurse, she loved taking care of others for over 42 years.   She worked at Lowndes General as an ICU nurse and with Columbus Surgery Clinic for 25 years. Mrs. Sprouse was very active in church and was the youth director at Central United Methodist and most recently active at Covenant United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. She was a very genuine person and enjoyed sending cards to all her friends.

Mrs. Sprouse is survived by her husband – John Sprouse; daughter – Cassie (Bob) Dinsmore; grandchild – Savannah Renee Dinsmore; brothers – Bruce (Lisa) Townsend and Sammy (Kay) Townsend.
