Virginia "Jennie" Sue Hodgins,, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Trinity Personal Care, Columbus, MS. There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Ms. Hodgins was born November 4, 1933 in Nashville, TN to the late Enis and Emmie Lankford Jones. She was of the Methodist faith. Ms. Hodgins was a seamstress for Dot's Cleaner for 12 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband - Curtis K. Hodgins. Ms. Hodgins is survived by daughters - Sandra (Joseph) Sala and Wanda Cansler, both of Columbus, MS and Susie Hodgins, Macon, MS; sons - Michael (Dianne) McDerman, Nashville, TN, Paul (Tina) McDerman, Goshen, OH, and Rodger Hodgins, Buffalo, NY; sister - Wilda Collins, Paris, TN, brother - Sam Jones, Nashville, TN; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
