Walentyna Golinski Walentyna Golinski, 86 of Caledonia, MS passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her residence. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 1 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Shelton officiating. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park, Corinth, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Golinski was born May 12, 1925 in Kisow, Ukraine to the late Mary Moskwa and Leon Iwanenko. She retired in 1983 after 35 years of service with Saleno cookie factory. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening especially flowers and was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Golinski. Mrs. Golinski is survived by her sons, Rick (Fiance, Tracy Carson) Golinski, Caledonia, MS; Edward (Linda) Golinski, Burbank, IL; daughter, Helen (John) Doherty, Brwyn, IL; grandchildren, Dustin, Golinski, Ricky (Fiance, Rachael Smith) Golinski, Jessie McGee, Nickole Doherty, Eddie Golinski, Johnnie Doherty, Kathey Golinski and Mark Golinski; great grandchildren, Michael Golinski. Kimberly Golinski and Natalee Figueredo. Family members will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice.
