Walter Leslie Goode, 73 of West Point, MS passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cairo Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Cedar Bluff, MS with The Rev. Dr. Robert T. Wilbur officiating. Speakers will be Joel Coleman and Jason Stewart. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS will be directing. Mr. Goode was born September 7, 1941 in West Point, MS to the late Walter L. and Geneva Goode. He was a member of Cairo Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Goode was employed with AT & T for over twenty-eight years. Mr. Goode is survived by his wife-Beulah Frances Frazier Goode, West Point, MS; daughter-Emily (Jeff) Kimbrell, Brandon, MS; grandchildren-Katie and Elizabeth Kimbrell; brother-Tom Goode; sister-Linda Bryan and a host of nieces and nephews.
