James Faggert, 68, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Trinity Personal Care.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2019, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Ricky Kimbrell officiating and Bro. Shawn McDaniel assisting. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Faggert was born December 20, 1950, in Batesville, MS to the late James Faggert and Hazel Perrigin. He attended Highland Baptist Church, Gordo, AL. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Faggert was an avid Ole Miss Football fan. He worked at Omnova Solutions as a machinist for 30 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Faggert is preceded in death by his son, Michael Faggert; brother-in-law, Jeff Smith and nephew, Adam Faggert.

Mr. Faggert is survived by his sister- Becky Smith ( Kenneth Montgomery); brother- Dennis ( Gwen) Faggert; nephews-Lucas Smith, and Donnie Smith; Niece-Shannon ( Mark) Herrington; great nephew-Harrison Smith and host of more great nephews and great nieces;  special friends- Liz Taylor and Tommy Irvin.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Smith, Tim Kimbrell, Ricky Kimbrell, Tommy Irvin, Preston Lawerence, Kenneth Montgomery, Dennis Faggert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trinity Personal Care, Trinity HealthCare, Trinity Senior TX, Dodie Colvin, Glenn Baldwin, and Joanie Wilson.
