Willa Mae Lowe, 88 of Caledonia, MS passed away Friday, April 21, 2023.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Memorials Gardens, Columbus, MS with Bro. Stan Johnson officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Lowe was born March 16, 1935, in Harlan, KY to the late Elbert Cox and Delea Scott Cox. Mrs. Lowe married Mr. Frazier Lowe on July 15, 1953, in Jonesville, VA. They moved to Columbus, MS in 1967 from Biloxi, MS and was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church, Caledonia, MS. Mrs. Lowe was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She and Mr. Lowe owned two semi-trucks and drove together extensively across the United States, they also owned Lowe's Paint and Wall Covering for 13 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband Frazier Lowe and sister – Ada Marlow.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by her daughter – Beverly Duckworth, Columbus, MS; son – Rodney Lowe, Arizona; brother – Eugene Cox, Paris, KY; sister – Audrey Mann, Richmond, IN; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
