William Riley Bradford William Riley Bradford, 84 of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his residence. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 1 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Melvin Mordecai and Bro Randy Holmes officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS; Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Bradford was born September 14, 1926 in New Hope, AL to the late John and Rhodie Hunter Bradford. He was a resident of Caledonia, MS for the past 44 years having moved from Arkansas. Mr. Bradford was a farmer for more than 50 years, loved fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife - Dorothy Bradford and grandson - Ronald M. Watkins, Sr. Mr. Bradford is survived by his daughters - Jane (Ron) Watkins, Caledonia, MS; Cyndi Reeves, Starkville, MS; son - William L. Bradford, Louisville, MS; sisters - June Alumbaugh, Milton, FL; Maggie Lott, Meridian, MS; grandchildren - Joey Watkins, Vanessa Watkins, Ronnie Watkins, William L. Bradford, Jr., Dorothy Tindall, Amanda Grace, Nicki Kwasniewski, Kasey Reeves, Dusty Bradford, Holly Robinson; 10 great grandchildren and his constant canine companion Jack Daniels Bradford. Pallbearers will be Clint Robinson, Ben Tindall, Brad Kwasniewski, Ronnie Watkins, Jr., Howard Knight, Jody Reeves and Kasey Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Unity Hospice.
