William "Billy" Andrew Jackson, 64, of Caledonia, MS passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. The family wishes for people to attend in casual dress. Following will be a potluck from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Everyone bring a food or drink item to the American Legion on Chubby Lane.
Mr. Jackson was born October 5, 1951, to the late Grover Cleveland Jackson, Jr. and Annie Katherine Blevens Jackson in Bristol, VA. He moved from Selma, AL about 30 years ago and has lived in Caledonia, MS since. Mr. Jackson served 14 years in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged as a SSGT in 1986. For the past 18 years, he has been the manager of Sensations, Columbus, MS. Mr. Jackson loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and collecting things.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son-William Christopher Jackson, Marion, AR; daughter-Shandi Lyn Rapp, Caledonia, MS; spouse-Patricia "Pat" Jackson, Caledonia, MS; grandchildren-Tonya Capps, Kayla Jackson, Taylor Lynn Jackson, Tanner Bradshaw, Seth Hurst, and C. J. Jackson; great grandchildren-Sean Kelly, Eli Hollingsworth, and Jaedyn Capps; brothers-Tommy (Barbara) Jackson and David (Lois) Jackson; sisters-Joyce (Doug) Boone and Liz (Hal) Benjamin.
