William Stoddert Kennedy, 83, of Columbus, MS passed away January 29, 2022 at his residence in Columbus, MS.

No services are scheduled at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kennedy was born February 7, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late Marion Stoddert Kennedy and Francis Harriette Bates Kennedy.  He graduated with his masters in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and worked many years for Lam Research in Fremont, CA.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife – Linda Brown Kennedy, Columbus, MS; three sons- William Kennedy, Scott Kennedy, David Kennedy; and seven grandchildren.
