Major William E.  (Skip) Pratt, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at his residence with his wife and soulmate by his side.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2019, 12:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.

Major William Pratt served in the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer as an Airborne Ranger. He served in Korea, Vietnam (5 Tours), England, Ethiopia, Germany, Central America, North America, Scotland, and Brazil. While serving 22 years in the Army he received two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and The Combat Infantry Badge among numerous other medals of honor while serving his country. He was also a graduate of MSU. Major William Pratt is preceded in death by his parents Leon Mullins and Helen Marie Pratt.

Major Pratt is survived by his wife- Billie Mason Pratt, children-James "Skippy" Pratt, John (Katy) Pratt, Angela Mason  (Billy) Dobbs, Kim Mason, and Ernest Mason; grandchildren-Meagen Pratt, Madison Mason, Kristan (Keith) Painter, Dylan Shannon, Drayk Haas; great-grandchildren- Kyson Bryant Mason.
