William Clinton Sullivan, 94, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Joiner officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Sullivan was born December 5, 1928, in Mississippi to the late Clinton Truly and Lucille Laird Sullivan. He was the owner of Shop and Save in Columbus since 1973 and worked there until he was no longer able to. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed coffee, Hardee's biscuits and liked to fish. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters- Christine Sullivan, Betty Sullivan; brother- Daniel Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 75 years- Mary Elouise Renfro Sullivan, daughters- Melanie Hope (Kevin) Elmore, Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Sullivan; sons- William David Sullivan, James Phillip Sullivan; grandchildren- William David (Kelly) Sullivan, Jr., Christopher Wayne Sullivan, Larson Brian Locklin, Samantha (Stephen) Boyette, James Phillip (Mandy) Sullivan, Jr., Melanie Kay Elmore, Brittany Lauren (Seth) Kederick, Mary Ashley (Stanley) Thompson; 11 great grandchildren; sisters- Annette Jones, Sarah Sullivan, Emma Sue Tarver; bothers- Billy Wayne Sullivan and Paul Sullivan.

Pallbearers will be William David Sullivan, Jr., Brian Locklin, , Kevin Elmore, Conner Sullivan, Dustin Britton and Carter Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Sullivan, Jr., Stanley Thompson, Chris Sullivan and Stephen Boyette.
