William "Billy" Herbert Wright, 86 of Columbus, MS passed away, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mr. Wright will be Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS. Interment in Friendship Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home, directing. Mr. Wright was born September 14, 1927 to the late John & Mary Brownlee Wright in Pickens County, AL. He received his bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. Mr. Wright was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from Sears as a contractor salesman after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Hardee's round table breakfast group, loved camping and traveling. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his sisters - Hazel Keasler, Willard Stillman and Mildred Stokes, brothers - Franklin Wright, G.C. Wright and Johnny Wright. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife - Wilda Reid Wright, Columbus, MS, sister-in-law - Jeana McDonald and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Murray, Craig Murray, Richard Spann, Marty Stillman, Max Stillman, Jimmy Wright, Jeff Wright and Mike Keasler. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
