William Carl Zimmer 80, passed away May 17, 2023, at his residence in Columbus, MS.

Visitation Service will be Monday, May 22, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Zimmer was born on April 26, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Erika Schwolgien Zimmer and late William Clyde Zimmer. He worked for many years as an Engineer. Mr. Zimmer was a civil war buff. He was an avid Michigan Football fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Zimmer was preceded in death by his wife Loreen Zimmer, grandson- Chase Bradford, and sister- Alice (John) Nafus

Mr. Zimmer is survived by his son- William Clyde "Billy" (Lana) Zimmer, Bryan Zimmer; daughter- Dana Zimmer; grandchildren- Chandler Zimmer, and Brianna Woychesin; sister- Wilma Luna; brother- Rick (Leslie) Zimmer.
