Willie "Preston" Payne, Jr. of Starkville, MS, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Starkville Manor in Starkville, MS.

Mr. Payne was born September 22, 1948, in Donna, Texas, to the late Willie Payne, Sr. and Louise Howard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Payne is preceded in death by his stepfather- B. E. Howard.

Mr. Payne is survived by his wife - Dianne Payne, daughter- Amy (Wayne) Slane, grandchild- Emily Putt, sister- Cindy (Mark) Young, and numerous nieces and nephews.
