Winford "Wimp" A Dailey, 87, of Columbus, MS, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Trinity Independent Living, in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. David Coleman and Bro. Wes Jones officiating.

Mr. Dailey, also known as "Wimp" was born on April 12, 1937, in Dyersburg, TN to the late Maxie C. Dailey and Zada Lee Willard Dailey. Wimp has been married 66 years to his loving wife Patsy Porter Dailey. Wimp worked as a Radiologist Technologist for many years. He retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle after working 31 years in the Radiology Department. He was a member of Victory Freewill Baptist in Columbus, MS. He was a Navy Veteran and served as a Hospital Coreman and spent some time with the Marines as well. Wimp loved spending time with his family and in his free time he enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Mr. Dailey is survived by his wife- Patsy Dailey; daughter- Lorri Ann (Lee) Hopper; son- Randal Lynn (Leigh) Dailey; grandchildren- Jeremy Moody, Jamie (Debbie) Moody, Brandi Mahan, Casey (Jared) Hunley, Alisa (Cory) Flye, and Garrett Hopper; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and one sister – Sherrill (Stan) Travis.

Pallbearers will be- Jeff Honnoll, Jerry Sullivan, Tony Carley, Chandler Honnoll, Les Wozniak, and Tony Hannah. Honorary Pallbearers will be Co-workers in the Radiology Department at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
