Yvonne June Edinger

Yvonne June Edinger, 95, of Caledonia, MS passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Trinity Health Care in Columbus, MS.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS, with Bro. Kevin Jenkins officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, is entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Edinger was born June 26, 1930, in San Jose, CA, to the late Herman Carothers and Gladys Carothers. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Woodland Baptist Church. Mrs. Edinger was a Secretary for many years at Nasa. She was an avid churchgoer, her life was devoted to public service, and she enjoyed traveling the world. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edinger is preceded in death by her son, David Edinger.

Mrs. Edinger is survived by her grandson, Benjamin (Myranda) Lindsay, of Caledonia, MS.
